Getting Started with Your ChompSaw

  • Place on a Flat Surface Set your ChompSaw on a clean, flat surface so it stays steady while you cut.
  • Lift the Lid for Power Access You can find the power supply under your ChompSaw's lid!
  • Plug It In Make sure the power switch is OFF. Then plug the power supply into your ChompSaw and a wall outlet.
  • Face Your ChompSaw Stand in front of your ChompSaw—the dust drawer should be facing you.
  • Power On Turn the power switch ON. You'll hear the ChompSaw start up, and the cutting head will begin to move up and down.
  • Wait 10 Seconds Give the motor a moment to warm up and reach full speed before cutting.
  • Lay Your Cardboard Flat Place your cardboard on the table and make sure it’s 3mm thick or less.
  • Push to Cut To make a cut, push the cardboard in the direction of the cutting head (away from you). Try pushing at different speeds to find what works best for you.
  • Rotate for Curves To make curves and turns, rotate the cardboard while continuing to push forward. Remember, the ChompSaw won't cut if you push sideways!
